How It Works
Flexacare is one strip of soft, breathable fabric that rests over your lips while you sleep. It does a single job, and it does it well: it keeps your mouth gently closed so you breathe through your nose all night, the way your body was built to.
Three steps, about ten seconds
- Peel. Wash and dry your lips, then take one strip from the pack.
- Place. Center it over your mouth and press for a few seconds. It flexes with your face, so it will not tug at the corners.
- Sleep. Let your nose do the work. In the morning, lift the strip away slowly from one corner.
Why nose breathing matters
Your nose is not just an air intake. It filters what you breathe, warms it to body temperature and adds moisture before it reaches your lungs. It also slows your breathing down, which is a large part of why nasal breathers tend to settle into deeper, less broken sleep.
Breathe through your mouth instead and you skip all of that. Air arrives cold, dry and unfiltered. Your throat dries out, the soft tissue at the back of it vibrates more easily, and that vibration is what snoring is.
What to expect in your first two weeks
- Night one. The strip feels strange for a few minutes, then you forget it is there. Most people wake up without the usual dry mouth.
- The first week. Snoring settles down. Partners tend to notice this before you do.
- Weeks two and three. Mornings get easier. Less grogginess, fewer middle-of-the-night wake-ups, more of the deep sleep you were missing.
New to mouth taping?
Ease into it. Wear a strip for twenty minutes while you read or watch something before bed, so you learn how it feels while you are still awake. Almost everyone is comfortable sleeping in it by the third night.
When not to use it
Skip Flexacare on nights when your nose is blocked by a cold or allergies, because mouth taping only works if you can breathe comfortably through your nose. It is made for adults rather than children, and it is not for use with a full-face CPAP mask. If you have sleep apnea or any condition that affects your breathing, talk to your doctor before you start.
Your 90-night sleep upgrade
Start tonight. By Dec 10 you could be sleeping on a completely different level.
Night 1-7
You wake without the dry mouth and the morning fog lifts sooner than it used to.
Night 30
Mornings hit differently. You are up before the alarm and your partner has stopped mentioning the snoring.
Night 90
Nasal breathing is simply how you sleep now. Steadier energy, calmer mornings, no thinking about it.
One strip per night. Three packs of Flexacare cover the full 90.
Same person. One change.
Nothing else about the night changed. Just how they were breathing.
Mouth open, throat dry, waking up several times without knowing why.
Lips closed, nose doing the work, straight through the night.
Tape your mouth. Transform your sleep.

Why we made Flexacare
Most of us were never taught how to breathe at night. Mouth breathing gets treated as a harmless quirk, when it quietly costs you deep sleep, hands you a dry throat every morning, and keeps the person next to you awake too.
The fix already existed. Your nose filters, warms and humidifies every breath, and it has done since long before any of us owned a mattress. What did not exist was a strip people actually wanted to wear: one that holds through a full beard, flexes with your face instead of tugging at the corners, and lifts off in the morning without the sting.
So we made one. One strip, one night, every night. Thirty-five to a pack, and a 30-night guarantee if it turns out not to be for you.
Still wondering?
Is mouth taping safe?
Flexacare strips use a breathable, hypoallergenic fabric with a built-in vent and a gentle, medical-grade adhesive. If you have nasal congestion, sleep apnea, or a respiratory condition, check with your doctor first.
How long before I notice a difference?
Many people notice a less dry mouth on the very first morning. Snoring usually settles within the first week.
Will it work with a beard?
Yes. The adhesive is engineered to grip facial hair without pulling on removal.
