FAQ
Everything people ask us before their first night with Flexacare. If your question is not here, email support@flexacare.com and we will get back to you within one business day.
Is mouth taping safe?
For most healthy adults, yes. Flexacare uses a breathable fabric with a center vent and a gentle, medical-grade adhesive, so you can still talk, cough and yawn while wearing it. If you have nasal congestion, sleep apnea, severe allergies, or any condition that affects your breathing, speak with your doctor before you start.
How many strips are in a pack?
35 strips, which is a full five weeks of nights. One strip per night is all you need.
What is the difference between the black and the pink?
Only the color. Black for him, pink for her is how most of our customers choose, but the strip, the adhesive and the 35-night count are identical. Pick whichever you prefer.
Will it stay on with a beard or mustache?
Yes. The adhesive is designed to hold against facial hair through the night and then release without the sting. Lift it slowly from one corner in the morning and it comes away clean.
Does it hurt to take off?
It should not. Flexacare is engineered to grip your skin firmly enough to stay put while you sleep and gently enough to remove without pulling. If your skin is sensitive, remove it slowly and try applying a little lip balm before bed.
Can I use it with a CPAP?
Flexacare works alongside nasal masks and nasal pillows. Do not use it with a full-face CPAP mask. Check with the clinician who manages your therapy if you are unsure.
What if my nose is blocked?
Skip it that night. Mouth taping only works when you can breathe comfortably through your nose. If you are congested from a cold or allergies, wait until it clears.
How long before I notice a difference?
Many people notice a less dry mouth on the very first morning. Snoring usually settles within the first week, and the difference in how rested you feel tends to build over two to three weeks as your sleep gets less fragmented.
Can I use it if I am new to mouth taping?
Yes, and it helps to ease in. Wear a strip for twenty minutes while you read or watch something before bed, so you learn how it feels while you are still awake. Most people are comfortable sleeping in it by the second or third night.
Is it safe for children?
Flexacare is made for adults. We do not recommend mouth taping for children.
What is your returns policy?
Every order is covered by our 30-night guarantee. Try it for a month, and if it is not for you, email us and we will refund you in full.
